Join other students in a fun and challenging design competition!

The mission: To develop and present plans for a creative and innovative design in response to a design challenge.

The reward:  Each member of the winning design team will receive complimentary registration to the 2013 ASIS&T Annual Meeting. In addition, you get to meet other students, and present your ideas to a jury consisting of leaders in Information Science.

The kick-off meeting will be held at the beginning of the conference (Sunday, 8:30pm), where we will:

  • form design teams
  • review the procedures, and
  • present the challenge

You and your team members will generate a system proposal, and present it to the jury and an audience of conference attendees. At the end of the presentation session (Tuesday, 10:30am), the jury will announce a winning team. You will also be able to network with members of the jury and receive additional feedback.

Congratulations to the 2011 Winners, who will each receive free registration to AM12:
Justin Brinegar, UNC, Elin Bammerlin, University of Illinois, Melissa Hunt Glickman, San Jose State, and Tanja Mercun, University of Ljubljana.
