The ASIS&T Annual Meeting is the main venue for disseminating research centered on advances in the information sciences and related applications of information technology. This year’s conference is stepping away from tradition and re-inventing our premier conference in the guise of an innovative “ASIST 2.0.” 
 

What’s new this year?

  • Six Themed Tracks that represent the spectrum of Information Science managed by expert committees will span 3 days, Sunday through Tuesday:

    • Information Behavior

    • Knowledge Organization

    • Information Systems, Interactivity and Design

    • Information and Knowledge Management

    • Information Use

    • Information in Context: Economic, Social, and Policy Perspectives

  • Highly regarded Continuing Education Seminars will be held on Friday and Saturday before the meeting begins

  • Special Themed Workshops will be held on Wednesday after the meeting

  • Conference Contribution Awards to acknowledge and honor the best research and student papers submitted to the conference

  • A Student Design Competition will be held during the course of the meeting and winners receive a free registration to the 2011 Annual Meeting!
